Creating a safe campus environment and a culture of respect is the shared responsibility of all members of the AUB community, individually and collectively.
As part of the university commitment to creating a safe educational and work environment, free of discrimination and discriminatory harassment of all kinds, students and employees of the AUB Campus and Medical Center are required to complete a mandatory online course/training that aims at raising awareness about behaviors proscribed under AUB’s policies concerning sexual and other discriminatory harassment and addresses strategies for preventing and responding to sexual misconduct.
The Human Resources departments of the University Campus and Medical Center in collaboration with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/ Title IX Office offers mandatory discrimination and harassment sensitivity training sessions for AUB and AUBMC employees. The training is available in English and Arabic versions.
