For nearly 150 years, the histories of AUB and Ras Beirut have been intertwined, shaping each other’s identity and place within the city. The Neighborhood Initiative is AUB’s way of giving back to its neighborhood, by mobilizing the university’s resources for the public good, beginning just outside the campus walls.
