Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The University encourages freedom of thought and expression and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility, and leadership.
AUB is accredited in the US by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and includes six faculties: Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, Agricultural and Food Sciences, Health Sciences, and Business. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

Join us for an exciting 5-day introduction to economics designed for high school students curious about how the world works. Led by AUB faculty, this interactive program combines clear, beginner-friendly lessons with real-world examples and hands-on activities. You’ll explore key economic ideas, learn how economists think, and see how economics connects to everyday life—whether it’s prices, jobs, inflation, public policy, global trade, or financial markets.
If you enjoy asking “why?” and want to understand the forces shaping societies and decisions, this camp is a fun and accessible way to get started.
This program is ideal for high school students entering grades 10–12, especially those interested in social sciences, public policy, business, or global issues. No prior economics background is required—just curiosity and motivation to learn.
Interested students are invited to complete the registration form by June 1, 2026. Early submissions are encouraged, as spaces may be limited.
