AFFILIATES PROGRAM
Academics, writers, and artists may apply for affiliation with the Center for Arts and Humanities (CAH) at AUB to facilitate their research in Lebanon. Affiliation requests may take up to three weeks to process. The required documents for application are:
- An email addressed to the director of CAH, introducing yourself, requesting the affiliation, and specifying the dates during which you wish to be affiliated with us.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Research proposal (1-3 pages).
- A scanned copy of the front page of your passport.
Affiliation with CAH offers:
- An institutional home at AUB with the opportunity to engage in lively interdisciplinary exchange with AUB faculty and students.
- AUB Affiliate ID card which provides access to AUB Libraries as well as other university resources.
- Internet and Wi-Fi access on AUB campus.
- Shared office space at AUB (availability cannot be guaranteed).
The following conditions apply:
- CAH offers affiliation for a period of up to one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year.
- CAH cannot assist affiliates with obtaining residency permits in Lebanon.
- Affiliates are asked to present their research in a public talk or workshop organized by CAH.
