MENA Writing Studies Journal is a refereed journal publishing research about the teaching of writing, composition, and rhetoric in the Middle East and North Africa. The journal’s goal is to share the experiences and voices of instructors and scholars whose work and research is relevant to the region while also reflecting the diversity and complexity the region itself, as it traverses geographical, linguistic, and national borders. The journal provides a space for theoretical and pedagogical discussions among those teaching writing in the MENA, working with students from the MENA, or in some way associated with the MENA.
MENA Writing Studies Journal publishes in English but encourages submissions regarding writing instruction across the languages of the region.
Our inaugural issue is now available on the Volumes page.
