AUB's first-ever Mole Day celebration will take place on October 23, 2026. After decades of inspiring students globally, “
The Mole Has Finally Arrived in Lebanon!".
Inspired by Avogadro's Number (6.02 × 10²³), the Mole Day is celebrated internationally as an epitome of curiosity, discovery, and the overall pursuit of knowledge. Today, we are thrilled to bring this global tradition to AUB for the very first time.
At
TrEd, we see it as an opportunity to bring the AUB community together through a day of interactive activities that actively inspire creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
More than a celebration of a tool of scientific revolution, the Mole Day holds at its core the values of
TrEd and reflects our commitment to creating experiences that bring people together, spark curiosity, and demonstrates that learning can be both meaningful and engaging.
The Mole Day at AUB is organized to celebrate the 160th anniversary of AUB and the 150th anniversary of ACS. It will go from 6:02 am to 6:02 pm on Oct 23rd in the yard next to the Department of Physics with a major activity at 2 minutes past the hour as of 6:02 am. The
TrEd team, which is formed of 39 talented undergraduate students, is working tirelessly to make the Mole Day at AUB a very special day.
We are also eagerly looking forward to the participation and contribution of faculty to welcome this global scientific tradition into our AUB community.
Whether you are passionate about Sciences, Humanities, Arts, or simply enjoy exploring new ideas and immersing yourself in a day of celebration, we invite you to join us as we continue to partake in lifelong learning and welcome the very first edition of the AUB Mole day!"
