The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, in existence at AUB since the mid-1940s, is committed to the highest standards of quality in graduate management education. It is a general management program that encompasses different areas of business and offers a robust knowledge platform comprised of a set of functional, cross-functional, and skill-based, core and elective courses.
Our courses will provide students with opportunities to learn, practice, and lead. Our graduates will acquire the vital knowledge and skill set needed to go on and build prosperous careers in various industries, including, management consulting, entrepreneurship, banking, marketing, media, and other. Our students can tailor their learning experience to suit their individual needs by choosing electives from various education streams, including relevant courses from various disciplines and faculties across campus.
Program Outline
The MBA curriculum is composed of eight (8) core courses and a choice of four (4) electives from a list of courses covering varied areas of interest – a total of 36 credits. The program is offered on a full- time and part-time basis to best suit the needs of our students. Completion
period for a full-time program is about 4 terms, and about 6 terms
for part-time. The MBA is the only graduate program at OSB which starts the fall and spring of every academic year.

- Electives can be tailored to your learning experience by choosing courses from the specialized tracks in human resources, finance and business analytics.

Students with non-business undergraduate degrees are required to take remedial courses, referred to as pre-foundational courses. This module is an intensive, level-setting, zero-credit program consisting of three short courses, typically offered before the start of each semester.
MBA course streams
The structure of the MBA program offers students the flexibility to own their learning experience by allowing them to select beside to the eight core courses common to all MBA students, four elective courses that could be chosen from one specialized stream (Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Family Business, Finance, or Marketing) or any combination of elective courses that meets their individual needs.
