The AUB Simulation and Clinical Competency Center (SCCC) is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing healthcare education through immersive, experiential learning.
Designed to serve all healthcare students and providers, from nurses and physicians to allied health professionals, the SCCC offers a realistic, safe environment for developing clinical skills, enhancing teamwork, and improving patient safety.

To enhance student learning through high-impact, simulation-based education and training for healthcare providers across disciplines, ultimately improving quality of care and patient safety, and grounded in AUB's core values of excellence, collaboration, and service.

We offer tailored simulation trainings and courses for:

  • Practicing Nurses and Physicians
  • Allied Health Professionals (Nutritionists, Clinical Pharmacists, Phlebotomists, etc.)

​Location and Facilities

Located on the 2nd floor of the Hariri School of Nursing, the SCCC occupies a total space of 290 square feet. 

It is composed of five spacious rooms which can be used for classrooms, skills training, and physical assessment. 

One room is designated for high fidelity scenarios that include a control area and a debriefing space. 

Live-stream broadcast is possible for observation and debriefing.

Simulation Center Tour

A tour of the simulation facility is scheduled every Monday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

Tours are provided for AUB/ AUBMC community members interested in learning about simulation.

To schedule a tour, please call the lab coordinator. 

Tours are open to the general public by special request.
