SUMMER FILM STUDIO

​The Summer Film Studio, organized by the Media Studies Program at AUB, offers a two-week introduction to filmmaking. Participants will explore the fundamentals of storytelling, cinematography, and editing through hands-on workshops and guided projects. Designed for students who have completed Grade 10 or 11, the program emphasizes creative experimentation and collaboration, giving participants the opportunity to develop their filmmaking skills, gain practical experience, and bring their ideas to life on screen.

Fee: $300

Week 1: Pre-Production & Production

  • Day 1: Introduction to Filmmaking Writing
  • Day 2: Camera Basics & Shot Composition
  • Day 3: Planning & Preparing for the Shoot
  • Day 4: Filming Day – Shooting the 5 Projects
  • Day 5: Reviewing Footage & Recording Voice-Over

Week 2: Post-Production & Final Screening

  • Day 6: Introduction to Editing & Premiere Pro
  • Day 7: Premiere Pro Intensive – Fine-Tuning the Edit
  • Day 8: Sound & Color Correction
  • Day 9: Final Touches & Exporting Films
  • Day 10: Final Screening & Feedback Session
