▶The InsurgenSeas Podcast
This podcast opens up a new conversation about oceans and the politics of oceanic change. Hosted by Dr. Nikolas Kosmatopoulos, it draws on years of research and activism to challenge dominant views of the sea, whether as empty space, a securitized border, an investment frontier, or a lawless zone. Instead, it reimagines the sea as a site of radical possibility, resistance, and community reclaiming. Through interviews, stories, and critical reflections, the podcast explores what it means to think politically from the water,
connecting frontline struggles and inviting listeners to see the sea differently, beyond borders and beyond empire.
