▶CELME Mapping Initiatives: The Seas of Solidarity to Palestine
This research documents and maps maritime geographies of solidarity with Palestine. It visualizes and connects three separate types of solidarity:
1. Solidarity ships attempting to breach the illegal and inhumane siege of Gaza.
2. Solidarity blockades of Mediterranean ports facilitating military material towards Israel;
3. Solidarity embargoes on Israel-bound commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
By visualizing these spatially distributed and strategically linked maritime actions, this mapping project suggests a conceptual model for understanding how global solidarity to Palestine engulfs the world seas.
