Travel Support ​​​​Mamdouha El-Sayed Bobst FAS Deanship Fund​​​​​​​

​FAS undergraduate and master’s students are invited to submit proposals for travel funding in support of academically meaningful opportunities. The purpose of this fund is to enable students to participate in activities that enrich learning, strengthen academic development, and enhance FAS student representation beyond Lebanon. Supported opportunities must demonstrate clear academic relevance and educational value, a well-defined purpose, and tangible outcomes that contribute to the applicant’s academic journey and professional development.

Eligibility: Applicants must:

· Be full-time FAS undergraduate or master’s student
· Participate in an activity aligned with their field of study
· Have good academic standing
· Not be subject to any disciplinary actions
· Not be currently completing freshman requirements
· Not have received this fund previously (applicable only once)

Additional criteria as per activity:
· Competition participation: if the competition includes a local round, only one winning entry (individual or team) will be eligible for funding with priority given to the highest ranked winner.

Budgetup to $1,500

Application material: Apply online. Please upload in one PDF file: 1. Proposal outlining the activity/program you intend to attend, the purpose of the travel and how it contributes to your academic development, anticipated outcomes/impact, and travel dates. The proposal must include a detailed breakdown of the budget and all projected expenses clearly indicating how the funds will be allocated. 2. Letter of endorsement from your designated chairperson which must also include a statement on the credibility and legitimacy of the activity
