This opportunity is designed to support FAS students pursuing summer internships/fellowships with governmental and non-governmental organizations by providing a monthly stipend to help offset associated costs. The initiative aims to encourage students to gain valuable hands-on experience in their field of study, even when such opportunities are unpaid or financially burdensome. By providing invaluable practical experience and networking opportunities, internships play a vital role in fostering students' professional development.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
• Not be enrolled in a major that includes an internship course
• Secure an internship that requires a minimum of 80 hours per month
• Be junior or senior standing and must have completed at least six courses that count towards major course requirements
Students are responsible for securing the internship and must abide by its terms and conditions. The internship must comply with AUB rules and regulations.
Budget: Up to $500 per student per month for a maximum of $1,000 for two months
