  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. It is essential to follow the Five-Step Elections Process in the tab above for those wishing to participate in the elections and/or run as candidates

Note: The validation /eligibility check (step 1 in the Five-Step Election Process document) is an important step for students to be able to vote and/or run as a candidate.
