  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The University encourages freedom of thought and expression and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility, and leadership.

  AUB is accredited in the US by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and includes six faculties: Arts and Sciences, Medicine, Engineering and Architecture, Agricultural and Food Sciences, Health Sciences, and Business. AUB offers more than 130 programs leading to bachelor's, master's, MD, and PhD degrees. The main language of instruction is English.

The Career Readiness Program (CRP) is a committed partnership between an employer seeking well-educated, student talents and students wanting a work integrated learning. It is based on the principle that learning works best when academic achievement is combined with practical experience.

The OSB Career Readiness Program (CRP) is an innovative daring academic program that seamlessly blends students' studies with valuable remunerated work experience. It is an optional program directed to our BBA students through a committed partnership between the Olayan School Of business, an employer seeking well rounded and well-trained talents, and students looking for a unique work-integrated learning experience. CRP offers a transformative journey of experiential learning, personal growth, and professional development.
