​The Center for Research on Population and Health​ (CRPH) at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut is currently recruiting interns for a paid internship position at CRPH Communication Unit. This experience will offer a valuable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in public health communication and media-related fields and get exposed to communication strategies and guidelines set by the American University of Beirut and Faculty of Health Sciences.

Role: 

Create communication content and promote the center’s research and visibility through various media channels. ​

​

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the research team to develop creative concepts and designs for various research output materials, including infographics, brochures, flyers, social media posts, and other promotional materials.
2. Create and design communications materials, including web content, social media posts, and videos.​
   
3. Assist in developing engaging and target-specific communication content.
   
4. Edit videos/photographs of daily activities onsite, if needed. ​
   
   

Required competencies:

• Persuing or holding a bachelor's or master's level degree in marketing, graphic design, audio-visual arts, or similar.
  
• Proven strong knowledge of existing social media outlets.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  
• Excellent organizational, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work pro-actively and independently within set deadlines.
  
  

Desirable competencies:

• Proficient with design and video editing softwares.
  
• Good photography skills or show a willingness to learn.
