AUB professorial-rank faculty members in the arts and humanities are invited to submit applications for participation in the Global Humanities Network (GHN) Mobility Scheme, anchored at the University of Cambridge, which fosters scholarly exchange that leads to joint teaching ventures and new research initiatives. The scheme supports up to two AUB faculty members to spend up to four weeks at Cambridge or any other GHN partner university. For more information, see Global Humanities Mobility Scheme.
Eligibility: AUB professorial-rank faculty members in the arts and humanities. Priority will be given to junior faculty applicants.
Budget: $3,000 lump sum for all travel-related expenses
Application materials: Apply online. Please upload in a single PDF file: 1. Project description which includes the intellectual rationale, objectives, and plan of activities (300 words) and a description of the longer-term benefits to both institutions (200 words); 2. Title of a research talk to be given within the host department; 3. Applicant's CV (up to two pages); 4. Brief statement of support from applicant’s department; and 5. Brief statement of support from hosting department.
