The Agriculture Summer Camp

​​​​​​​​​Program Overview​

The Agriculture Summer Camp offers an immersive, hands-on introduction to modern, smart agriculture and the future of food. Over two weeks, participants explore soil science, composting, plant health, hydroponics, irrigation technologies, and plant diseases through labs, microscopy, and outdoor activities. Learners design precision-agriculture systems using drones, satellite imagery, and data analytics, and build a mini hydroponic unit. The program also introduces insects, poultry, livestock, and honeybees, includes experiential visits to AUB Farm and partners, and concludes with an Agri-Business Challenge where students pitch innovative food-system ideas.

  • The program is tailored for high school students (Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12). 
  • The summer camp will take place from July 13 till 24​, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (excluding weekends) on AUB Campus​.​
  • The program fee is $600​. AUB faculty, staff, and ​alumni are eligible for a 20% discount.​​​​​
