Am I entitled to any educational benefits for my children?

Eligibility: You must complete two years of service.

Schooling Benefits:

Grades 1-12: Tuition is covered up to 2,000 USD for elementary classes and up to 3,000 USD for intermediate and secondary classes.
- Grades 13 and above: Tuition is covered up to the IC-equivalent rate.
- University Benefits:
- For dependents enrolled at AUB of all employee grade levels, a scholarship is available to support the completion of an undergraduate degree as per AUB's program curriculum.
- For dependents of personnel in grades 1-12 enrolled at other universities, an educational allowance of up to 3,000 USD per academic year is provided for the completion of an undergraduate degree as per AUB's program curriculum. As for dependents of personnel in grades 13 and above, an educational allowance of up to AUB equivalent tuition is provided for the same major.

As an AUB employee, can I pursue a degree while working?
- Employees can enroll in courses leading to the completion of a degree (graduate or undergraduate level) provided they have completed their probationary period and secured the approval of the unit head or supervisor. Employees will pay 40% of the tuition and the remaining 60% will be covered by AUB.

What happens to my educational benefits if I go on leave without pay?
All educational benefits including staff education will cease during the period of your leave.
