  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Open Walls: The AUB Art Collection (Chapter 4)

Open Walls: AUB Art Collection presents artworks from the American University of Beirut's permanent collection alongside contributions from other collectives and institutions. Adopting the "open walls" method as a model for dialogue and collaboration, the exhibition brings AUB into conversation with local, regional, and international cultural partners. Chapter 4, curated by Marwa Saad, brings together Beirut Art Center with Hussein Nassereddine, the Collective for Architecture Lebanon (CAL), and AUB's Program on Medical History, Ethics & Politics (MHEP) in dialogue with the AUB Art Collection.

Open to the public, academic, students, and researchers (ALL).
