  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Contact Title IX Coordinator

Managed by the university's Title IX Coordinator, the Title IX Office is based in the Office of the President. It coordinates AUB's response to discrimination and discriminatory harassment including sex- or gender-based harassment. Programs include among others, campus outreach, promotion of awareness, training of students and employees, follow up on incident reporting, and oversight of formal panel investigations.
