  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Dr. Tarek Zeidan

Dr. Tarek Zeidan, Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sciences at LifeMine Therapeutics, delivered the second TrEd Career Chat at AUB entitled, "From Bench to Leadership: An Ongoing Journey" on Oct 2, 2025 via WebEx.

Dr. Zeidan took us on a journey from the halls of AUB to the frontlines of global biotech. His career is defined by a lifelong commitment to improve and innovate, transforming drug delivery, pioneering new therapies, and shaping the future of medicine. More than patents and platforms, his true legacy is in the people he has mentored, the teams he has built, and the lives he continues to touch. It was more than a talk. It was homecoming.

Sharing his journey with students walking the same path he once did was a celebration of passion, resilience, and vision.
