  Founded in 1866, the American University of Beirut is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. AUB has over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. Khalil Z. Barrage

Mr. Khalil Z. Barrage is the Managing Director of the Invus Group and the CIO of Invus Public Equities. Based in New York, he leads the public equity investment strategy, co-leads the public/private investing team, and manages global teams of investment professionals across offices in New York, Paris, and Hong Kong. Prior to Invus, he worked at The Olayan Group, a multinational, multibillion dollar investment enterprise with origins in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Barrage is the cofounder of Biosciences Lebanese International Network (Biolink.org), a global platform for life science professionals of Lebanese descent to collaborate on innovative research and to build a thriving life sciences ecosystem in Lebanon through partnerships with academic research centers. He serves as a member of the boards of St. Jude/ALSAC, Sensorion, ElevateBio, Valerio Therapeutics, Orthobond, and Protagenic Therapeutics. As part of his philanthropic engagement, Khalil serves on the boards of the Children of Armenia Fund, LIFE Lebanon and Solving Kids' Cancer. He earned a BA in Economics from American University of Beirut ('87).
